Exploring Spirit Phenomenon LLC, (ESP) is a diverse group of people who strive to investigate and document paranormal phenomena caused by spirits, hauntings, poltergeists, and other unexplainable occurances. We achieve this by utilizing an open-minded, common sense approach, supported by a variety of electronic equipment for analyzing data.

Though based in the Oklahoma City area, we offer education, assistance and support to those experiencing activity throughout the entire State of Oklahoma, and surrounding areas when possible.

We understand the fear and anxiety that is often associated with mysterious happenings at your home, business, or land. And we pledge to handle your case with professionalism, sensitivity and integrity, respecting you, your time and your property.

PLEASE READ - General Information:Exploring Spirit Phenomenon (ESP) is a very family-oriented team and we greatly value our members. We seek dependable and self-motivated individuals who are committed to researching and investigating the paranormal field. Applications will be kept confidential and used for review of membership purposes only. All member positions are completely voluntary and investigations are conducted at the individual's own risk and expense, this includes public events. The majority of investigations occur on weekends, and occasional long travel may be necessary. Only completed applications will be accepted. If you are not chosen at the time of application for a position with ESP, your application will remain on file for six months. General Qualifications:-Dependability is a must.-Minimum 21 years of age.-Live within 40 miles of the greater Oklahoma City area.-Weekends available for investigation scheduling.-Have dependable transportation with a valid driver's license.-Willing to travel in state and out-of-state when necessary.-Able to attend investigations, public events, and group meetings on a regular basis.-Willing to support all team duties (when necessary) such as interviewing clients, historical research, etc.-Have internet access and email available.-Phone access (preferably unlimited cell phone texting, but not required).-Be supervised by case managers, technical managers and assigned trainers.-Work well with others.-Not diagnosed with a mental disorder affecting perception, judgement, memory, or taking medication for such.-Not currently using, have used, addicted to (including perscription), or history of narcotics or illegal drugs use.-Can not have a criminal record, be on probation, parole, or supervised release.-Be of good moral character and standing in the community.-Meet any other qualifications and screenings required or expressed by ESP.Probationary Period:All applicants who are accepted for membership will be on a 90-day probationary period in which their performance and dedication will be evaluated by the team.

We have investigated this location many times and recorded over 25 EVPs, a number of which are facinating. The clients have experienced paranormal activity for over 20 years, including apparitions of a little girl. While investigatiing we have encountered both physical manipulation, audible voices, and shadow figures.

HOPPING Cemetary #051509

Intense storms were moving in the night we investigated this small cemetary and we could see cloud to cloud lightning off in the distance. One of our investigators was very scared to drive in bad weather and decided to leave before others. As we were saying goodbye to her we captured an evp stating 'pray for her'. Joe was also walking through the cemetary and thought he heard his name called and responded, we were fortunate to capture his name on audio.

This investigation proved very unique. We captured the voice of a female child several times and was obvious she was trying to get our attention. There were no children present during this investigation.

If you believe you are experiencing paranormal activity and would like ESP to investigate your property, please complete the application below. You will be contacted in a timely manner via e-mail and/or phone by a Case Manager for further information and possible scheduling of an investigation.The application is to be completed and submitted by the property owner/renter/lessee/lessor, etc., who has legal authority to allow ESP on the property to research and investigate. If you have any questions concerning the application, please use our Contact page prior to submitting one.In an effort to provide you the best results during an investigation we respectfully request the follwing to eliminate photo, video, and audio contamination: No smoking No candle or incense burning. No pets inside the property if at all possible. No extra guests in attendance.Thank you, we appreciate your time and for choosing ESP.

What To Expect

What To Expect At An Investigation

ESP requires at least one adult person who has legal authority to grant us access to the premises and permission to investigate, be on-site at all times during the investigation process. It is our goal to utilize time wisely at your property and is imperative you not invite uninvolved friends or family to the investigation. We also request small children not be present, especially for their safety. Pets should be removed from the property during the investigation if at all possible. All of this allows us to fully focus on the investigation in order to best assist you. Uninvolved guests, small children, and animals can actually hinder the process of evidence collection and create false positives during our review and interpretation of data. Please remember, our goal is to help you discover what is truly occurring and document any unexplainable occurances. Therefore, we approach claims of activity with healthy skepticism and curiosity. It has been our experience over the years that much of what is perceived as paranormal has a logical explanation when fully investigated, but not always. ESP will not tolerate any drug or alcohol use during an investigation. If any team member suspects you, or anyone in attendance with you, are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, we will immediately leave the premises. If any reported paranormal events are deemed to be staged, or if evidence of fraudulent claims is discovered, the team will immediately leave the premises and will not return. Scheduling: A case manager will typically discuss the scheduling of an investigation during your initial consultation or shortly thereafter. The majority of investigations are scheduled on weekends, typically ranging between the hours of 7:00 pm and midnight, though days and hours are flexible to accommodate your needs and experiences. The time spent investigating will vary from location to location depending on the size of the property, the extent of the activity, and the clients concerns. An average investigation lasts two to four hours. Confidentiality: ESP will keep your confidentiality concerns in high regard. We understand nosey-neighbor syndrome and will be as discreet as possible if necessary. If you prefer we arrive in plain clothes instead of team shirts, please discuss that with our Case Manager prior to the investigation date. When we arrive at your property you will be asked to sign a ‘Permission to Research and Investigate’ form. Within that form you will state your confidentiality preference (i.e. if you will allow ESP to post any evidence found). ESP will never release identifiable information such as your name and address without expressed written consent to do so. Walk-Thru and Equipment Set-up: At the time of arrival we would like you to show us the ‘'hot spots'’ of activity throughout the property. Our tech team members will utilize your comments to decide what equipment to use, and where to place it for the best results. This may or may not include: static night vision cameras, infrared camera/dvr system, thermal imaging camera, motion detectors, hand-held cameras, audio recorders, parabolic mics, laser grids, trigger objects, etc. Depending on the equipment used, and size of the location, this process may take up to one hour, but typically less. During equipment set-up, some members will be checking EMF (electromagnetic field) readings throughout the property, and taking photos for comparison during evidence review. Visit our Equipment page for examples of items used during an investigation. Investigation: As soon as the equipment is in place, our team will ‘'sync'’ audio. This means we will gather together and start all our audio recorders at the exact same time. This allows us to compare any questionable recordings (electronic voice phenomena, knocking, footsteps, etc.) during our review process. After syncing audio, all lights will be turned off. The majority of the investigation time is spent asking questions one person at a time, waiting a short time to allow for a response, then eventually moving to each ‘hot-spot’ throughout the property doing the same. We will speak in a more provoking manner only with client permission. Some team members will be taking photos occasionally, especially if someone feels they are being touched, feels unusual cold or hot spots, etc. Wrap-up: Our investigation will conclude with tearing down our equipment, answering any questions you may have, and leaving your property just as it was when we arrived. Data Review and Presentation: ESP strives to review all audio, video, and photographic data within two weeks of your investigation. Once the analysis is complete our Case Manager will contact you to present any unexplainable data/evidence we may have recorded. If any unexplainable evidence was recorded, a copy will be e-mailed to you and/or you be given a CD (at your request). If you have agreed, evidence may be posted on our site.

large groupPublic Ghost Hunts & ToursOn occassion ESP is host to large public ghost hunts or tours. Our future event details are currently being arranged. We have had the privledge of participating in events at various historical locations such as the Stone Lion Inn, Bison Theater, Haney Building, Blue Belle Saloon, and Ritz Theater. If you have ghost hunting equipment (camera, video camera, audio recorder, flashlight, etc.), we encourage you to bring this equipment to these events. Some events are limited seating and for adults only. All details including pricing are always posted on our site when finalized.Minimum age 18 at some locations. All participants are required to sign a Release of Liability at the location.
SMALL GROUPPublic Ghost Hunts & ToursESP offers personalized ghost hunts or tours for small groups of 1 to 10 people. We provide step-by-step instruction in proper investigating, equipment use, and analyzing data. Most of our equipment is available for your use during the event, or you may bring your own. We have awesome locations to learn at or just have fun! This is a terrific gift idea for birthdays, weddings, office get-togethers, etc. If you would like a DVD of your ghost hunt or tour we will provide you one free at your request.$25 per person for 1 to 4 people$20 per person for 5 to 10 people.Minimum age 18 at some locations. Why do you investigate in the dark?Most claims of paranormal activity are reported to occur during the evening or night. But if a property is haunted, it is typically haunted no matter what time it is, though certain times can be more active than others. ESP investigates during the daytime if a client requests, or needs to be accommodated at that time. However, we prefer to investigate in the dark of night when the normal background sounds of the day have subsided. At night the air cools and is therefore more dense which allows the vibrations that people sense to travel more easily. In other words, our senses are heightened, people are typically more relaxed and better able to focus on seeing, hearing, feeling, smelling, and yes... even tasting differences in the environment. It is actually easier to see shadow figures in the dark than in the day because we are very rarely in a completely dark room. There is typically some form of ambient light from a window, sky-light, exit sign, etc. Our infrared cameras must be used in the dark and are able to record a spectrum of light that is not visible to the human eye, therefore enabling us to capture possible spirit activity otherwise gone unnoticed.If you don't charge to investigate, how can you afford to do it?ESP never charges a client for investigating their property. If you contact a team that wants to charge you, please rethink utilizing them. We have a passion for this field, and we are here to help you in any way we can. Members of our team are made aware before joining that everything is done basically at their own expense and risk. Since you have a large team, how many members attend an investigation?ESP is a large team, and we are very proud of it. We firmly believe that family comes first and 'life happens'. We all have jobs and families to tend to so we have plenty of members available for your investigation even in busy times. Depending on the size of your property, we will bring only the members needed to cover the investigation. If by chance we have more members interested in attending a particular investigation, we will rotate in two different groups during the time allotted. And this actually is of benefit quite often. We have found some spiritual contact occurs more frequently with a particular member(s), whether it be due to gender, race, spiritual belief, age, etc., we don't know. But we may capture more evidence with one group than the other. It's a good thing to experiment in this way. Of course, if you prefer only a few members arrive, we will be glad to accommodate your request.Can paranormal activity be associated with a person, or certain objects?Yes. It's not just locations that can be haunted by spiritual activity. We have investigated locations where the clients seemed to have paranormal activity occurring no matter where they lived. It seemed to follow them from home to home. Every person, and thing, is made of energy. It is proven that energy never dies, it only changes form. For example, let's say you have an item that you cherished all your life. You have put so much thought (energy) into that item that you basically embed some of your energy into it. We feel objects can hold that energy. We have investigated locations where clients have reported seeing their loved ones near a particularly beloved object. One of our team members placed an audio recorder on her fathers desk one day in hopes of capturing anything he would have to say to her from beyond. It was the only location in the house where she actually recorded something, an EVP of a male voice saying her mothers name. The desk was a place her father would sit every evening working until time for bed.Can a ghost hurt me?In most cases, no. Many times it's the unexpected scare of seeing, hearing, or feeling something paranormal that may actually cause you to hurt yourself, such as stumbling and falling when you are frightened.
